CUT.

I finally have a day off, it's a miracle!  There has been a lot of things I have wanted to catch up on that just couldn't wait any longer... Laundry first!!! I have been working so much lately, and to be honest, I am burning myself out. This is what happens when you are starting your own business though right? I know that the harder I work now, the better it will be later on. I still have to save some fun time for myself though, after I get all my not so fun stuff done, I am going to get my nails done and go shopping with some great friends....I deserve a little pampering! That is my excuse for my wimpy blog post... ;)  For those of you who don't know, not only am I a photographer, but you are also looking at a licensed cosmetologist!  So my cousin's girlfriend asked if I could squeeze her in today. I cleaned up my room, got her a magazine, and voila...step into my salon ;)  These pictures are from when I cut her hair last...enjoy. NOW...time to get pampered! :D

Elizabeth + Justin | Love Shoot

 I had been waiting to meet Elizabeth for a while now.  She actually works at Village Green with me, but we have never worked at the same property. I had done Holly's wedding a last month who also works at the corporate office for Village Green. One day they were both talking about their photographers and then they realized they were both talking about me! I get a call at my property from both of them that day and couldn't help but feel a little excited ;) Don't worry my head isn't getting big, but it is just a small world and I am doing what I love in it! It was so good to meet you and Justin, you two are such a cute couple who are so in love, you can tell from every look you give eachother. I am so happy you chose me to shoot your wedding, it is really going to be amazing. ;)

Nicole + Scott | Love Shoot

I can't wait for September, to be a part of these two amazing people's wedding day. I was just thinking the other day how I am so excited, because of how great my couples are. Megan + Billy

I woke up Saturday really excited for the day I was about to have. Not only was it beautiful out, but I was about to be a part of another amazing couple's wedding day.  I went to high school with Megan and Billy.  I didn't know them very well then, but being with them this short period of time, I knew we would have been great friends. I just wanted to share one of my favorite pictures from the day, it shows just how in love these two are, and I can't wait to share the rest!

Brystol + Kylie | 9 Months

We had originally planned to meet at the Henry Ford Estate in Dearborn, but the fun police had to stop us! No for real, the police kicked us out! Oh well we tried, we drove around and found a perfect area close by with tons of trees and the light was perfect! Brystol and Kylie are such cuties I can't even handle it! Despite getting kicked out of our original spot, and the girls times being all messed up, I couldn't be happier with how their pictures turned out :)  I had a lot of fun with you guys as usual, I can't wait to see them next time!

Nicole + Scott | Sneak Peek

When Nicole had first contacted me about her wedding, she was a little hesitant.  I had hardly done any weddings yet and she just wanted to make sure we were a good fit. I was really happy when she decided she DID want to hire me for her and Scott's big day! I love when my clients follow my blog and get to know me, it definitely makes things more comfortable when we finally have our shoot! Her and Scott are such a sweet couple and this girl can totally work it, she probably has one of the best "fierce" looks I have seen ;) I have been super busy but wanted to share one of my favorite pictures from our shoot. Nathan | 9 Months

I couldn't wait to see Nathan for his 9 month pictures.  I actually had a treat and got to see him before that! Last week my sister had come home for the weekend, and after my parents and I picked her up from the airport, we went to one of our favorite restaurants, Salvatores. While we were sitting there catching up, Christina, Jason and cutie pie Nathan walked in.  My parents recognized them because they read my blog of course ;)  Nathan had everyone in the restaurant's eyes on his cuteness, and he had his eyes on my dad's mustache, and he might have tugged on it a few times too! A couple days later, it was not only a perfect day, but it was Mother's day! I hope you had a great 1st Mother's day Christina, you two are amazing parents! I hope you like your sneak peek, I couldn't help smiling while I was editing them. Can't wait to see him in a couple months!!! :D

Holly and Mike's family could not have been more welcoming. Holly's Aunt Pat let us use her beautiful house beforehand and had a ton of goodies for the girls getting ready. It was such a beautiful day with beautiful people. You can tell these two love each other so much, just from the looks and the tears I saw that day. It took them a while to find each other, but once they did, there was no turning back. I hope you guys like your sneak peek and I am so happy I was able to document this special time in your lives :)
