Adrianne + Mike

It had been over a year since I had seen these two. I met Adrianne when I lived in Chicago and we became friends right away. Her and Mike were actually the 2nd photo shoot I had ever had and I was so excited when Adrianne said she wanted me to shoot their wedding.  I am not going to get too into their story for this post, but wanted to put one of my favorite pictures of the day up.  I hope you guys love it and I can't wait to show you the rest of the photos ;) Love you!

Happy Monday!

Happy Birthday Dad

He says, " I will be right back" as he goes into the garage to get his snowblower after the crazy snowstorm we just had.  About an hour later he comes back in and I say, "geez, did you do the whole block?".  He didn't do the whole block but he had gotten the snow off of 4 different people's lots, not just ours.  I am one lucky lady to have the parents I do, they will always help people no matter what. They are 2 of the most selfless people I know and I don't know what I would do without them. If it wasn't for my dad, who would I have to help redecorate my room or fix my car when I have a flat tire?  No matter what he has going on he will always help me out and I love him so much.  Sometimes will be at work and he will just stop by to drop off a Dr. Pepper or a Starbucks, you are jealous aren't you? I do things for him too ya know, I am the one responsible for his stylish haircuts ;) It has been so great being home with you guys and filling our nights with Dexter and Law and Order. Well Dad, I hope you have a great birthday (even though you have to work). Love you!!!

Making him play pin the hunk on the junk...gave him the rainbow one, he looks soo thrilled haha.

My sister's wedding day!

Happy Vday to Me

It was that time of year again, February 14th, the day some people are excited about and others dread. This year, just because I was single didn't mean I wasn't going to to enjoy it. Things have been so crazy, a couple days before I even forgot it was Valentines Day.  My good friend Dana and I decided we would got to dinner and a movie and I couldn't be happier about the night we had planned. We ended up going to California Pizza Kitchen where I always get my delicious cheese ravioli! For those of you who don't know I could probably eat pizza and pasta everyday, love my carbs! Anyway, we were planning on going straight to the movie but decided we wanted to do a little shopping for ourselves and get our own valentines day gifts :D I was thinking maybe buy some new boots but I am trying to save my money right now, a new apartment might be in the works! So I didn't go too crazy and bought this awesome plant and vase from Anthropologie. I have always wanted to move out west but will probably never be able to...so this plant reminds me of that and I love it! Hopefully it will be going in a new apartment very shortly ;) Happy Thursday!

PS. Happy Birthday to Mia!

Steve + Shelly | Winter Wedding

She was on a trip in New York City visiting one of her girlfriends and had no idea what was about to happen.  Steve knew Shelly was the person he wanted to be with forever, and he couldn't wait any longer to tell her.  He decided to surprise her in New York, he called her friend and told her to take Shelly to Central Park.  While Shelly was there, Steve came out of nowhere and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him, and she said YES. That is probably one of the most romantic stories I have ever heard, especially coming from my cousin Steve! I am so happy for you two and am so happy I was able to capture your big day. I wish you the best of luck with everything and I hope you like your sneak peek. Love you guys!
