Jeep...or no Jeep?

So yesterday my mom and I were at lunch when we saw a Jeep Liberty parked out front that I fell in LOVE with. I have had my eye on this car forever and texted my dad to see if he wanted to go look at some after work. I didn't think it was really a possibility but just wanted to see what I could get for it. I put on my facebook status that I was going to take a look, and right before I walked in the dealer, I had a facebook update that a friend I knew worked at that exact one! That was definitely fate if you ask me ;) It just so happened that we could get a deal on a BRAND NEW Jet Liberty. I am definitely torn though....I don't know if I am going to get it or not. One part of me is saying to just do it...you only live once..but the other part is saying that I am doing good paying my bills off and should keep working at that.  Ever since I moved home from Chicago I have been working so hard at Village Green and with my Photography. I am getting busier and busier and am finally able to pay some things off and then this opportunity presents itself. What to do? We will see! Anyway, enough of me rambling...I haven't had a chance to take some new pictures lately and was looking through some pictures I took in New York a while back. I had never put this one up for some reason but I always like to put a picture up with my blog...even though this one doesn't go with my story at all. I guess it could, I should be happy I am not riding a bike around all winter!  Happy Tuesday!

Is it Spring yet???

SO Spring definitely faked us out this year. The groundhog didn't see his shadow, I can't even remember the last time that happened.  It definitely gave everyone hope, especially after the horrible winter we have had. It was so nice the other week, I even went on a walk with Roxy...let me tell you she needs all the exercise she can get! Don't get me wrong, she is still the cutest Chihuahua ever, even if she is a little chubster. Anyway, this 30 degree weather is getting a little old. I can't wait till I can just sit outside and read a book, or ride a bike...which I plan on doing a lot of this summer.  As I sit here on my day off, I am looking at the pictures from Florida, trying to be patient, knowing that the warm weather is almost here. Nolan | Baptism

Nolan | Baptism

The last time I saw this little guy he was less than 10 days old. He has gotten so big and I was so happy his Godfather(Steve) asked me to take photos at his baptism this past weekend. It was so great being a part of such a special time in his life, I just wanted to post a picture that caught my eye and made me smile.  I will have a REAL sneak peek ready for tomorrow ;)

As we prepared for landing, we weren't prepared for what our eyes were about to see, SNOW.  I wasn't the only one not looking forward to see it, but the whole plane groaned...which was actually pretty hilarious. I definitely needed to get away for the week, from the every day stresses and to just turn off my brain. I am so happy my friend asked me to go, it couldn't have come at a more perfect time! As I sat outside with the sun on my face, it made me even more excited for summer. I can't wait for what it has in store, my photography business growing and me getting my life more and more in order, which is so fulfilling. Just 2 days after I got back, something else happened that shows summer is on its way...daylight savings time!  Yes, we lose an hour... but who cares when your day gets longer and the sun sets later! Anyway,  I am so thankful for everything I have in my life right now and on this beautiful sunny day I will be spending it with my cousin to celebrate her birthday. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday!

Jessica + Chuck | Engagement

I had never met Jessica and Chuck, but by the end of their session I felt like I had known them for a long time. It is always funny when you first meet with people and they automatically have to feel comfortable not only getting their picture taken, but in front of a total stranger!  I do whatever it takes to make them laugh, they might think I am funny or just crazy but i'm okay with it either way....as long as they are having fun;) That way they are relaxed and having a good time, that's when you get their REAL emotions. It was so good to meet you two, and I can't wait to meet Gavin. I can't tell you how excited I am to share your big day with you. Just think by then, it will be a breeze ;)

Sammy | 1 Year Photos

I was able to witness one of the first times Sammy ate a strawberry, and let me tell you, it was the cutest thing :)  Sammy just turned 1 and she is so adorable with her little diamond earrings and baby blues. Lori and I had gone to high school together and I hadn't seen her since then!  It was so good to meet your whole fam...even the doggies! I hope you guys had a good time and I hope I can see you all again soon!

Adrianne + Mike | Indianapolis Wedding

I know I say this a lot but...it's true. Every time I leave a shoot, I feel like one of the luckiest girls in the world, being able to do what I love. It is especially true when I can witness a day of love, devotion and forever between not only my clients, but my friends too.  Adrianne and Mike met a while back and after they went their separate ways, they never forgot one another. Their paths crossed a couple years later and they knew there was something there. When you know, you know...so they both ended up in Chicago.  I love these two because of all the twist and turns life throws you, they are together and plan to be forever, with their adorable son Parker.  The wedding was nothing but perfect, it was February and we were lucky enough to have a 50 degree sunny day! A year ago they had promised to love and cherish, to remain by each other's sides, just the two of them. On February 19th, a year later they wanted to have a ceremony and have their friends and family there to share it with them.  It was such a beautiful day and I love you both so much. It was so good to finally meet Parker and thank you for believing in me and letting me be a part of your day. It has been amazing watching your life grow together and I can't wait to see what the future holds for your cute fam ;) I hope you like your sneak peek!
