I am sitting here bummed at work waiting for 1 o clock when we head to Lansing for our Davies family Christmas party. All I have to do though to feel better is to look at this precious face...and she even has a nice Christmas-y outfit on for you ;) Merry Christmas from Foxy Roxy :D

Christmas Shopping.
This is what happens when I go Christmas Shopping... I buy myself shoes.
They are so cute though!
Yesterday I spent almost 4 hours at the mall and only had to buy 2 people gifts...and I am still not done....
I hope everyone's shopping went better than mine. After work I HAVE to get done because guess what...I work tomorrow too!!! I hope everyone enjoys their days off for me this weekend :)
Happy Thursday!

Papyrus
It's weird...it doesn't really feel like Christmas to me, even though this awful snow is on the ground and people have Christmas lights up. I haven't bought one present yet either, I always wait till the last minute! One thing I HAVE done is finish my Christmas cards! I just sent them out today but hey...at least I got them out before Christmas! I love doing them, just to wish your friends and family a great xmas and let them know you are thinking about them. I have a friend who is probably the best crafter I know who sent over this Gem ;)
This was the first Christmas card I got and was from one of my favorite stores, Papyrus! Even though I would have LOVED to get my cards from there I decided to go the cheaper route and buy them from Target, and added my own Gems on there :) My sister is also coming home tonight so we will finally decorate our Christmas Tree :D Maybe once she gets here and we can go Christmas shopping together it will feel more Christmas Spirit! I hope everyone is having a great week so far and to all my friends from Chicago, I hope you have a safe trip home! And to all of your procrastinators out there...Christmas is in 3 days!!! CRAZY!

Andrew | 8 Days Old
Megan bought the house next door to Chris...they started talking one day...then started seeing each other...and over time, fell in love. Megan sold her house and moved in next door with the man of her dreams..and soon to be husband! Best. Story. Ever. Megan found out she was having a baby...they didn't know if it was a boy or a girl. Then on December 3rd they were blessed with an adorable baby boy. I was so excited to meet Andrew! He is one of the youngest newborns I have had the pleasure of taking pictures of. He was 8 days old, so tiny, and probably the cutest dressed newborn I have seen with his cute little vest! Megan and Chris welcomed me into their beautiful home...plus it was decorated perfectly for Christmas :)
Couples having their first baby is so amazing to be a part of, there is so much love in the air that you can't help smiling from ear to ear. They are now parents, and this is the best gift anyone can give them for Christmas. I hope you guys enjoy your first Christmas together, it was so good to meet you and I hope you like your sneak peek! ;)

Andrew's room was so cute...Megan had her old baby shoes in there which were awesome!
Their other babies :)
Megan's mom made this hat and it just so happened to fit Andrew perfectly :)
SO cute!
The best Christmas present ever ;)

It's finally over.
Yes I graduated from Cosmetology school a little over a year ago and still hadn't taken my State Board exam. I was TERRIFIED! Illinois is where I went to school and to get a license there you don't have to take a practical, only a written test. Because of this I wasn't prepared whats so ever! More and more time had gone by, my photography was getting bigger and bigger and to be honest..I didn't want to spend another penny on this career that I know isn't right anymore. I had gotten my hair cut by my good friend Kelly who told me I would regret it if I didn't take my test. Even though I didn't want to think about it, I knew it would drive me crazy...I am the type of person that if I start something..I have to finish. I sucked it up and scheduled my test a week later. Thank god my friend Kelly had helped me get prepared for it! When I got to the testing center I was feeling good, I was actually a little excited to do it! Once I got in the room, nerves crept over me and made me rethink all my steps. Plus the ladies that were watching were not very nice! I came home kinda bummed...thinking I may not have passed and dreading thinking of having to take it over again.
The next day I looked online and saw a PASS next to my name. I was working alone that day and I was so happy I started jumping up and down and dancing all around haha. That is a HUGE weight lifted off my shoulders! I am not done yet though, the rest will be cake...I just have to take the written portion. I should have done this a long time ago! My manager decided to surprise me with a little treat at work the next day...chocolate is my favorite! Thank you to everyone that wished me good luck and congrats, it means so much! The lesson here is to not be afraid and let things get so out of hand, procrastiation is the worst! Be safe driving today...happy Monday!

Reagan | Christmas Photos
Reagan is one the cuties I have watched grow up. I took maternity pics, her newborn and 3 month photos. Andy and Julie ended up skipping 6 month so these are her 8 month/Christmas pictures and let me tell you, I had the BEST time. I absolutely love Reagan's personality, she is so smiley and giggly. After her shoot, me and her beautiful mommy went to get lunch and I ended up staying at their house just to soak up as much time with that sweet little face. I hope you guys like your sneak peek and hopefully we can get together again soon! ;)
Best present EVER...

The Hetchlers | Family Photos
I was so excited when Jamie emailed me to do her family pictures. I had known her since elementary school and we sadly lost touch. Her mom was even my girlscout leader, back then me and Jamie used to have a secret hiding spot in her attic. If I ever ran away that would be my hiding place, I planned on running away a couple times but only got down the street and ran back and gave my mom a hug :) Like I said before, this job is great for many reasons, and one is getting back in touch with old friends. I even stayed after and talked for a couple hours just catching up, I am so lucky! I had a lot of fun with you guys and I hope you like your sneak peek ;)
Gavin & Presley :D
Coolest hat ever.
Jamie's adorable kiddies :) Gavin loves his Ball!
Uncle Chad!
Love this...good job looking at the camera girls! ;)
Had to end with this picture, priceless...

Brian + Emily | Engagement
So this is it, my first wedding as the main photographer and I couldn't be happier with my couple! Emily heard about me from some mutual friends and had emailed me about this January, I wasn't sure if it was 2012 because it was so soon! It was a short engagement but Emily and Brian grew up together, Brian being one Emily's brothers good friends. They had been friends that whole time and finally realized there was something there and the rest is history. Brian is stationed in California so they wanted to do the wedding soon, once they are husband and wife Emily is moving back there with him (so jealous!). We probably picked one the COLDEST days to take their engagement pictures but I guess we have to get ready for their January wedding! ;) We had to keep going inside to thaw out, but you can't tell it was that cold in the pictures because these two are goood. Emily you are a beauty and it was so good to meet you Brian, I can't wait to be a part of your special day! ;)
