Chelsea + Joe | Engagement

Oh these two...I have known them for quite some time now and was thrilled when they asked me to take their engagement photos.  And I would have to go to Chicago too, double bonus! Joe used to be my neighbor in college and is one of Nicks good friends and I remember meeting Chelsea at one of their parties. She is one of the sweetest and most caring people you will ever meet.  Joe is a quieter guy and will just say something so random and funny which is always a quality girls LOVE. These two couldn't be more perfect for each other. Joe proposed right by the bridge where they do the architectural tours...it is so amazing and you get a good view of the city.  He had someone secretly watching ready to take some pictures right as he did it.  He started off by telling Chelsea how much he loved her and that she was his best friend and get this, she still had no idea.  All she said was awwww I love you too and you are my best friend too! Ha love her! She finally got it, cried, said YES and the rest is history. I love you guys and am so happy for you. I Hope you like your sneak peek! ;)

Sharpe Family | Family Photos

It was Halloween morning and I had just gotten done with another shoot (where I had gotten lost).  And of course I had to get lost again...that's what happens when you are out in the boonies! The Sharpe family was as sweet as I knew they would be when I walked up.  Pete and Suzanne have 3 beautiful girls that are all different in their own ways. They were so well behaved and polite!  I asked them what they were going to be for halloween and you couldn't have picked 3 more different outfits! An Indian, a twister board, and a rapper! They were awesome and it was so good to meet the Sharpe fam, it was a little chilly but they did so good and you wouldn't even know they were cold by looking at their pictures!  I hope you guys had a good time and I hope you like your sneak peek! ;)

Nick + Stephanie | Family/Engagement

So Stephanie and Nick's wedding is the 2nd one I have booked so far.  I couldn't be more excited, it will be in Traverse City next summer! I have been good friends with Stephanie's brother Matt since high school and he was the one that told her to check out my stuff.  Not only will this wedding be beautiful, it will also be a ton of fun because I know how their friends and family are! ;)  Instead of doing engagement photos Stephanie wanted some family photos done, so of course we did that instead! Stephanie and Nick just welcomed little Avery who is adorable.  Noah was also a ton of fun, I know he secretly liked getting these photos done even though he didn't act like it haha. It was so good to see you guys after so long and I couldn't be more happy for you!  I can't wait to share you special day with you!!!

Kaiden | 1 Year Photos

So these pictures were extra special, they were taken on my birthday! haha just kidding. No but really these are some of my favorite photos yet!  I talked with Kristin that week and we decided to go somewhere close to my work just so we would have enough light before the sun went down! We ended up going to downtown Birmingham which is like a playground for a photographer. There are so many cool settings, the light and temp were perfect, and I finally got to use one of my props my cousin gave me a long time ago...a huge lollipop! Kaiden was such a cutie and I know he was happy I finally got to use that prop too ;) I am so glad we decided to do it that day and I hope you guys like your sneak peek!
