Sweet.

I know i've been slacking on the posting, I finally got caught up, cleaned out my computer and put all my new photos on it. I CAN'T WAIT to share. Since it was such a gloomy day today, here is a photo that will make you smile. Newborn shoots are starting to become my favorite. I have another one tomorrow, and I can't wait to meet him. For now, I am working on Drew's blog for tomorrow, just wait till you see the rest :) For those of you who don't have babies yet, after you see this one, you will be wanting your own little bundle of joy!

I just got back in Michigan yesterday and have so much to catch up on! I was in Vegas for a photography workshop, that sadly wasn't what I expected. I did get some beautiful shots at our desert shoot though, can't wait to share those later this week ;) I am a little behind in my blogging and have to finish a couple sessions this weekend. Here are a couple pictures from both of them.

 Today is also a very special day, it's my Grandad's 93rd birthday. He is one of the most amazing men I have ever met. In my 28 years, I have never seen him yell or be mad, not even a little bit. He is a great husband, father, and grandfather, if all the men in the world were like him, it couldn't get any better. I have missed my family since i've been gone, so I am headed to dinner and I hope you enjoy these couple pics. Get ready for a lot of fun sneak peeks this week. Happy Saturday!

Taylor | Newborn Photos

I love these guys. You will see what a cute family they are, so happy and playful. I especially loved this shoot because I just got them around the house, doing some day to day things. I am not usually a softly, or am one of those girls that dreams of her wedding day or when she has kids, but this shoot made me excited to have my own family someday. Nick and Beth are such sweet people and have such adorable kids, I had so so much fun as usual with you guys. I hope you like your sneak peek and I can't wait to do it again! ;)

Happy Love Day.

It's that time of year again... some people love it and some people dread it. I have to say that no matter whether i'm single or taken, I find a way to enjoy it. Last year I was single, and excited for a night out with one of my girlfriends, oh and we did buy ourselves a present at the end of the night too :) This year, I am with someone, but he is 5 hours away, so I get the best of both worlds. I get to have a fun night with some of my favorite girls, and see him in two days :) I can't wait for my trip to Vegas, I have been looking forward to this photography workshop forever. Oh how things have changed in the past year. This day last year, I was working at a job with the worst manager on this planet, and this year my dream has come true, I am now working solely on my passion and have met so many people along the way.  I wanted to share what true love really is, from this photo I took this past weekend of a newborn session, with a good friend. Your valentine doesn't have to be a significant other, it can just be someone that makes you smile. 

Jaimie + Mike | Wedding

My family is the most important thing to me, that's why this blog hits close to home. It's extra hard to write, there are so many emotions that I feel from this day, that it's hard to express them into words. My cousin Jaimie and Mike have been together for 10 years, they got engaged recently and were planning to have a wedding sometime next year.  Jaimie is like a sister to me, she is close in age to me, so we grew up together and used to get in trouble as kids, dressing her bro up like a girl, torturing my sister's boyfriends and much more ;) I wrote a blog way back about Jaimie's family, my uncle was diagnosed with cancer a couple years ago and is one the strongest people I know, along with his family. Jaimie decided to move the wedding up and get married in 2 weeks, she wanted her dad there on her wedding day.  The wedding was absolutely amazing, you would never know it only took 2 weeks to plan. Everyone that loves Jaimie, helped along the way to make her day perfect, I was lucky to be her photographer and document such a special day for her. I love you so much, and am so happy I was there for you.  I wish you nothing but the best, because you deserve it ;)
